He has generated over $1 billion in real estate sales, over 6 million square feet of retail tenant leasing activity and has secured over $7 billion in commitments of commercial real estate debt and equity funding. John Nagle has served in leadership positions for over $7 billion of real estate assets.
As Chief Operating Officer for Capital Growth Properties, Inc., a private retail real estate development and management company, John was responsible for a team providing accounting, construction,
development, consulting, management and marketing services for more than 10 million square feet of shopping centers and regional malls valued in excess of $1 Billion.
John also served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and a principal of The Great Lakes Companies, Inc. (GLC), a full
service hotel, resort and senior housing developer. During his 6 year tenure at GLC, John was a key member in the team that grew the GLC real estate portfolio from $20 million in
value to over $300 million.
The hotel development and management team of GLC earned distinction by achieving over 30 national hospitality awards including New Property of the Year (Carlson Hospitality Worldwide,
2 consecutive years), Newcomer of the Year (Bass Hotels & Resorts now known as Intercontinental Hotels Group), 2 awards in the same year for both the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn
full service brands, Torchbearer (Intercontinental), Blue Diamond (Marriott International, 2 consecutive years), Quality Assurance Award (U. S. Franchise Systems) and One of the 10 Best

Prior to joining GLC in 1996, John, along with Craig Stark, was involved in all phases of the design, development and construction of the Holiday Inn Select-East Towne in Madison, Wisconsin.
This hotel has received 13 major awards since opening in 1988 including the Holiday Hospitality Corporation New Property of the Year in 1988 and Best of the Best-Hotel of the Year in 1995.
John is a 15-year veteran of General Growth Properties, Inc. (GGP), the country's second largest developer of regional shopping malls with a portfolio value in excess of $20 billion. He
served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of General Growth Properties, Director of Hotel Operations for subsidiary General Inns Corporation and as Vice President of Leasing for
General Growth Management, Inc.
As Director of Hotel Operations for General Inns Corporation, John was responsible for nine full-service Holiday Inn hotels located in Colorado, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and
Wisconsin. He contributed to increases in revenue by 100%, increases in net operating income by 150% and a reduction in labor cost by 20%. In addition, he implemented guest courtesy call,
amenities and modernization programs which contributed to a 50% improvement in guest rating and a 20% reduction in complaints.
During his tenure at GGP, John was involved in the sale of over $850 million in retail, office and multi family residential real estate, financing in excess of $400 million and retail
leasing activity of 800,000 square feet. He also spearheaded several computer projects including hotel and retail computerized budget forecasting systems, a retail tenant contact management
system and company-wide conversion to a computerized tenant information database.
John is an alumnus of the University of Iowa in Iowa City where he studied engineering.
